Overview
The Annual Meeting of NC Women United is held each spring to elect board members
and governance committee members, hear reports from the committees, and discuss
other items that come before the membership. We are still a very new organization,
so the conversation can be wide ranging. Come with a view to what your organization
wants from and can contribute to NCWU!
The 2007 annual meeting will be Monday, June 11 from noon to 2 pm at Peace
College. We
will meet in the Williams Board Room, which is in the Main building, directly
behind the fountain.

Elections
Board members are elected for 2-year terms. The terms starting July 1 include
President, First Vice President, Treasurer and six Directors-at-Large. Vacancies
in the positions of First Vice President, Secretary, and four Directors for
Policy (terms ending 6/30/08) may also be filled at this meeting. Governance
committee members are elected for one year terms, starting July 1.
